    Windows will not let me install certain applications


    Whenever I try and install epic launcher or spacedesk I can download the app but when I try and install it this pops up This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package. And idk what to do.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Unable to install certain applications

    Hello,

    As you are facing issue with installing Windows Movie Maker, I suggest you to follow the methods provided below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows + R keys, type services.msc and press
      Enter.
    • Locate and right click on Windows Installer and select
      Properties      .
    • Check if the service is started. If yes, then Stop the service and click on
      Apply and OK.
    • Restart the system and follow step 1 & 2.
    • Check if the service is started. If not, then Start the service and click on
      Apply and OK.
    • Now try to install Windows Movie Maker and check if it helps.

    If the issue still persists, then it might be caused due to corrupted installation files for the program. I suggest you to download Windows Movie Maker from the link below and install the same and check for status.

    Windows will not let me install certain applications

    "Application Install install package failure!" while installing 13.9

    Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and MSI 6970 Lightning.

    I was upgrading from 13.4 after I did a clean uninstall with AMD Catalyst Install Manager.

    Doesn't say what installation failed in the install log. Everything in the log says Success but at the very bottom it says "Application Install: install package failure!" but doesn't say what failed to install.

    I only install video drivers and no CCC.

    The only thing I noticed is AMD Catalyst Install Manager is not listed in my programs list.
