Windows 10: Windows Will Not Move Past “Welcome” Screen

Hello,Yesterday my computer started having some issues and now I am unable to access it at all. In the morning, I could perform basic operation of the computer though the taskbar was missing. I put the computer into sleep mode and when I came back later that day I was suddenly not able to get past the login screen. I have tried a number of different solutions I have found online and in these forums, but nothing seems to work. The issue persists even in safe mode. I have a physical CD from when I installed Windows, but trying to reinstall from the BIOS screen gives me an error.

Hello,

I suggest you to disconnect all external devices connected to the computer except essential devices like keyboard and mouse and then boot the computer and check. Sometimes, issues with external devices could cause issues with Windows startup.

As you have already performed Automatic repair, suggest you to perform again using a Windows 10 ISO media by following the steps provided below:

• Go to the Microsoft software download website
  and create Windows 10 installation media.
• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Repair your computer.
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot>
  Advanced Options.
• Click on Automatic Repair.

After the repair is complete, check for status.
