Windows 10: Windows won't accept letters in PIN - locked out of local account

I recently accidentally signed out of my local account and into an organisation account, which I have now removed. However, I have been unable to log back into my local account because the original pin contained capital letters and a symbol. Whenever I type a letter or symbol, it submits the PIN! There is no way I can see to recover it or enter my old PIN. Is this due to an update that prevents the use of letters etc in PIN codes?Because I am not signed in my local account, windows keeps telling me to activate and displays a watermark. After windows 10 update

pin box does not accept letters

it only accepts numbers

but my pin has numbers and letters

and even if I change my pin

I still want it to have numbers and LETTERS

I have rebooted from <OFF> several times

 

After Windows 10 update, signin screen won`t accept my pssword.

Sign-in screen won`t take my password after Windows 10 update on a new HP laptop. I had setup a pin login but now asks for Microsoft password which I wrote down and have used before but will not accept now.

Please do let us know the following to understand the issue and assist you better:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Are you trying to log-in using Microsoft account or local account?

Assuming that this issue might be because of keyboard, I suggest you to use on-screen keyboard from the lock screen and check if it helps.

Steps: From the lock screen, click on Ease of access and click on On-screen keyboard.
