    I recently changed my motherboard and upgraded to Windows 11 for free from Windows 10, which I bought. Now Windows will not activate, saying that I have installed it on too many devices. Error code: 0xC004C008. I have not installed Windows on any other PC except the one that I bought Windows 10 on. All the troubleshooter and activation utilities either say "we can't activate Windows because you used this license already" or "oops, something happened". How do I fix this? I'm not paying over $100 for another Windows key when I did nothing except change my motherboard.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
