    Windows won't boot after update


    I have a Surface Book 3 running Windows 10. It is set to automatically install updates from Windows Update.After the latest update not sure what as it's automatic, I let it reboot. After reboot, it could not find a bootable windows image.I created a USB recovery drive and attempted a system reset, it boots to the USB, but then it says "error resetting device" and the recovery is cancelled. I went to a command prompt and tried sfc /scannow to no avail.Net-net, after a Windows update, it lost Windows and can't run a recovery. Is there something I can do to recover my PC?

    Windows updates won't install!

    I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

    You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

    Windows won't boot after update

    Sabertooth 990fx won't boot to windows logo, it shuts down

    to boot and enter bios and load windows, any todays PSU (with the correct plugs) will work, AFAIK

    to enter BIOS only low wattage is used.
    Then, during boot, the HDD and a bit later the videocard card start to demand juice, then the other devices and periphericals... so the total demand during boot up is incrementing step by step, that's why a failure halfway could indicate a PSU problem....
