Windows Won't Boot from Encrypted SSD after Update

Today I updated windows and I specifically remembered the update was called "Insync" or something along the lines and it required a restart. Well, when the computer restarted it did so as if I didn't have n SSD and instead is using the original HDD that came with the computer. So essentially it just reset everything. The SSD drive that I use is visible in the drop down menu of File Explorer along with the main C: drive but whenever I click it, it only says "You need to format drive before you can use it" and then prompts a yes or no response. I tried changing the boot order but I don't see my SSD as an option - in fact, the only two options are the exact same. I tried disabling/enabling secure boot but that did not work as well. I tried reverting updates and using a restore point but the only recovery point is after the SSD-disabling update. I tried safe mode as well but to no avail. I also tried to repair the drive but windows says it's fine in the device manager.

I tried looking throughout the internet but no one seems to have my exact issue. Is there someway I can transfer my data or fix this? I had a lot of important school and work data that I desperately need as the last copy I have was 5 days ago, and many important events have occurred since then. Please, help if you can and also explain why this even happened? I have had no issues and I've been using my SSD for months.

    :)
