    Windows won't boot on my newly built PC when the local disk is over 10GB


    I am very new to PC building and I have just completed my first build, though I haven't been able to boot windows on it correctly. I used the Media Creation tool to install windows on a drive partition of my SSD, but it just won't boot. Eventually I created a drive partition that was 10GB, but it only had around 100 MB of free space and couldn't even run anything. That made it unusable. Any time I try to create a partition that is around the full length of the SSD, the boot just freezes while the white wheel is spinning. Is this a hardware issue or a software issue?

    Disk boot failure!!!

    You can format the disk with like fdisk or something. A linux disk would make more sense but you say it won`t boot....
