Windows 10: Windows won’t detect new SSD

I am installing a new M.2 NVME ssd into my parents HP P590 P-0109 and windows doesn’t detect my ssd anywhere, in disk manager, bios, windows startup for downloading windows, etc.To be more specific I am using a Kingston NV2 1TB M.2 2280 NVME and windows does recognize it the first time after reseating the ssd, but after shutdown, windows stops seeing it..So I put it back in and installed windows on it and it all worked fine, but then I shut down the pc after updating all drivers and was put back to the install screen and the drive wasn’t showing.What is wrong?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.
