Windows 10: Windows won't let me copy photos from Scandisk to my PC

I have always been able to import photos from my camera by inserting my Scandisk from my camera. Then I would be prompted about what I wanted to do.

Now this is not working. So frustrating!

I was prompted to use Adobe to open - that seemed odd, but it was my only choice. Anyway that doesn't work.


Previously, I could insert the disk on my PC, and I would then get an option to import, or copy, or whatever. , I can't precisely remember the dialogue on the screen that came up. But what i could do, was I could copy the photos from my Scandisk to Photos.


Help How can I restore the function that I had? I am at my wit's end.

How to use Scandisk on Windows 10?

Hi,

I suggest you to follow the steps below to run Scandisk.

• Press Windows key + E on your keyboard to open File Explorer.
• In the File Explorer window, click on This PC in the left navigation pane.
• A list of drives is displayed on the right side of the window. Right-click on the drive you want to run Scandisk on and select
  Properties.
• In the Properties window, click on the Tools tab.
• Click the Check button in the Error Checking section.
• The computer needs to restart to run Scandisk without any interruptions.

Cannot copy a few selected photos from Iphone to PC Windows 10

I suggest you to try copying the photos by following the below steps:

• Connect the iPhone to Windows 10
  computer
• Close the prompted window
• Press Windows + E key on the keyboard (it will show the phone as drive)
• Now you can copy and paste the pictures & videos into your Windows drive.
