Windows 10: Windows wont load or let me sign in to repair?

Hi! I have a bit of an older model that was running a bit slow. I tried to download an update but didnt have room so I deleted quite a lot of files that were duplicated on the laptop. When I rebooted the laptop, it flickers between a black screen and the Acer logo and then the black screen again. I’ve tried hacks like spamming F10 until the blue Troubleshoot page pops up, but the laptop requires me to sign into my windows account to select any option and doesnt recognize the password I’ve been using for years. I did try to reset the password but my laptop still wont activate it. Has anyone els

Hi,

This error means that there was a hardware malfunction or a device driver issue.

  What is the make and model of your computer?
  
• 
  Can you help us with the complete error or warning message /code which appears before the windows loads?
  

• Are you able to get into Windows desktop screen or it is getting struck on Windows loading screen with the error?

If you are able to get into the desktop, I suggest you to try the below steps:

If you’ve installed any new apps or devices, uninstall or unplug them and restart your PC.

Make sure that your PC has the latest updates. Go to the search box and enter Windows Update, then select Check for updates. In the Settings menu, select the Check for updates button. When it’s finished, restart your PC

If the system is getting struck on Windows loading screen, I suggest you to try reaping the system using Windows 10 installation media and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

1) Create installation media for windows 10.

1) Insert the Windows 10 installation DVD
in the DVD ROM and restart your computer.

2) After you boot your computer using Windows DVD or System Repair Disc, a black screen appears with gray text "Press any key to boot from DVD". Press any key.

3) Select the correct time and Keyboard type.

4) Click Repair your computer in the lower left corner.

5) Follow the on screen instruction.

Windows 10 Advanced Options Menu to Repair

I would try the following steps in order:

1. Remove the laptop main battery for a few minutes - may reset something
2. Load BIOS defaults
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free on another PC, create a Reflect USB repair disk then use that disk to repair your laptop
4. Recover from backup if you have one
5. Perform a Windows 10 repair install - see instructions on this forum

 

Sign in Options wont Open

Build version: 14393.693

I would like to add pin as a sign in method,

but this problem did'n encounter very often

It usually be normal after I restart the windows

Method 1:

This issue may happen due to system file corruption. I suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly follow the below given steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
  

• Restart the computer.

Method 2:

If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps to employ the DISM command lines:

• 
  Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
  
• 
  In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
  

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Cleanupimage

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

• 
  Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.
