Windows 10: Windows won't load when I start my computer

    Windows won't load when I start my computer


    I was playing a game (Fullscreened, don't know if that matters) and suddenly, everything went black and the same bit of sound from the game's music and sound effects started repeating. Nothing worked, not Alt F4 or anything, so I turned my computer off and then back on. So, the boot menu came in, Windows started loading normally (Dots moving in a circle below the Windows logo) but suddenly, the logo just disappears, and after flashing about 3-4 times, the loading dot circle animation also disappears. My mouse appears on the black screen, I can move it, but every about 10 seconds it gets put back in the middle of the screen. Every about 15 seconds the mouse shows that something is loading, but even after 20 minutes, nothing happens. Rebooting the computer doesn't work either. Does anyone know what I can do about this? (I tried doing alt + f4, ctrl + alt + del, nothing works.)

    HELP! windows won't start

    Just got home today,
    turned on computer and windows won't start.

    What happens

    BIOS appears-
    loading asus express gate...
    microsoft corporation (with small loading bar)

    after the loading bar, a windows logo inscribed in a circle should appear and illuminate.
    instead i just get a movable cursor on a black screen...

    after a while it reboots and the process starts again.

    I'm suspecting its the windows update my computer installed last night as it was shutting down.


    Going into safe mode and restoring...hopefully this works.
    I'm creating this thread from my dad's laptop ><

    Any suggestion will be appreciated! *Cry :cry:

    EDIT: i forgot to mention, the first time (blank screen for 5 min) ended in a quick BSOD and reboot.

    Lumia 830 main camera won`t start
