Windows 10: Windows Won't Recognise Wired Ethernet Connection

Hi, I'm currently facing issues regarding my wired ethernet connection. I recently built my new PC and up until this point everything has been working well. However I have only now realised that Windows is not recognising any form of the Wired internet connection via my ethernet port. I am able to receive wifi just fine and I have tested and used my wired set up extensively in the past with previous PC set up. As such I have concluded that this is not n not an issue to do with my connection.


When I check connections in the "Network Connections" setting, I find that there is no option to connection to WLAN/WWAN. Only my WiFi connection appears.



Also when I check my hardware and connection properties I see that my WiFi is "Operational" where as my "Local Area Connection 1" and "Local Area Connection 10" have the status of "Not Operational". I've tried search online for many solutions. Including updating my driver setting/ reinstalling my device drivers. I've done some cmd prompts such as "netsh winsock reset" and "netconfig -d" and still haven't made any progress on my solution. I have also check WLAN AutoConfig in services to see if this was running.


I've tried to be quite thorough with troubleshooting, before asking for help, but I'm now at my wits ends. I really need help at this point.

Wired(Ethernet) connection

I just bought a windows 10 pc, I plugged the wired connection at the back, but there is no Ethernet connection only WIFI. i CANNOT even find Ethernet in the Networking and sharing Centre!

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• Have you tried using a different Ethernet cable? If so, may we know the result?
  
• Are you experiencing the same issue on all of your devices?
