    Hello, I set up an external ssd drive and when I try to safe eject it says:"windows can't stop your volume device because a program is still using it".I formated the drive to exFAT and it allows to safe eject normally. I noticed the same behavior with 2 usb sticks I have. One is in NTFS and the other in FAT32. The FAT32 one can be ejected normally but the NTFS one has the same issue. I also used the file locksmith and it says that the NTFS drives are being used by explorer. I tried to end the task but it automatically restarts and cau

    Is there eject option for exFAT on Windows?

    Both of my WD 4TB USB HDD drives and a WD 1TB USB HDD drive show in the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media on the icon in the Notification Area.

    Is there eject option for exFAT on Windows?

    HDD doesn't show eject under Explorer, only flash drives.
