    windows wont update 1803, freezes up.


    I have been trying to update windows for about a week now, I was told this is probably the reason my computer freezes up but every time I try to install, it fails my computer freezes up and I have to force shutdown, this may happen multiple times a day. My computer freezes while I am just browsing the internet it doesn't matter what I am doing.

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage
