    Windows won't update and critical things have stopped working


    Im getting the following error message: "the installation has failed during SAFE_OS with error in operation REPLICATE_OC"

    With the error code: "0x8007001F - 0x20006"


    I have tried a ton of solutions online and not only do some of them not work but most of them I cannot even try because they require me to access parts of my OS that I can't get to because windows is broken. Such as the control panel, wifi settings, the seach bar, and the windows pop up menu.

    Windows won't update and critical things have stopped working

    Windows updates won't install!

    I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

    You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
