Windows 10: Windows Won't Update - Download Error 0x80070643

Hey y'all!I'm having issues with updating my Windows 10 on Acer Nitro 5 and I keep running into the same error 0x80070643. I've tried the net framework repair tool and a clean boot but still nothing. I tried to reset the Update Components manually using the guidebut when it came time to use "Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat"' it said it couldn't find the file. I still continued through the list and even did step 4. Then when I had to reregister BITS files half of them didn't work.I wanted to just manually download the update to see if that work

Hey

Try to apply the update manually As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
step by step guide.

However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.

Vista x64 won't download updates?

The last updates on my home desktop are dated 16th June.
I've powered it on some 3 or 4 times since then, but nothing was downloaded automatically as per settings.

I tried the manual update from the CP but I get an error code 80070002.

I did the troubleshooting suggested (i.e. stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service, and then try to check for Windows updates again) but I still keep getting the same error code, even after rebooting *Confused

What gives?
