Windows 10: Windows won't use/show dedicated GPU

I have a Lenovo Legion 15ACH6, and I was using it today when it suddenly shut down. When I turned it back on, it couldn't detect my Nvidia graphics card settings. It's not showing up in the task manager. When I launch GeForce Experience, it asks me to download the latest driver, but after installation, nothing happens in the application. It just keeps saying 'Express' or 'Custom' install. I can see that all Nvidia applications are installed, but I can't seem to utilize the GPU anymore, and the Nvidia Control Panel also doesn't launch. In the Device Manager, I can see the Nvidia display adapter

How do I disable the dedicated GPU

My machine has both an APU (as the CPU) and a dedicated GPU.

It (seems to have) worked!

TechPowerUp GPU-Z is showing fewer details about the dedicated GPU. I played Half-Life for the same amount of time as last time and my machine did not shut down. Also interestingly, the game ran consistently at over twice the frame rate as with dedicated GPU enabled on one map and consistently at around twice the framerate as with the dedicated GPU on another...

Hello I'm trying to use my dedicated GPU in place of my integrated but after I saw this




I had no clue what to do so I went into my BIOS to change it and there was integrated and switchable listed I picked switchable and still nothing now I'm here hoping somebody can help me.

I'm running windows 10 home version 1903, integrated gpu=intel graphics 3000, dedicated=AMD radeon graphics HD 7670M

The feature that you're looking for in Windows 10 is not available. I suggest that you check with your graphics manufacturer if forcing an app/game to use a dedicated GPU to each task is available with their software.
