Windows 10: Windows won't wake from Idle state

We have a HP Pavillion 15-P083sa laptop running Windows 10 64-Bit, updated to the October 2020 issue 20H2.

Since then we have had an issue where the laptop would not always wake from an extended idle state. Pressing the power button, using the keyboard or trackpad or closing and opening the lid would not wake the system, and we have to hard reset the computer by holding down the power button, forcing the computer to power down.

This seems to be quite a common problem and we have tried a number of different fixes which have not worked. These include running Windows Power Diagnostic Tool, verifying that the keyboard etc are permitted to wake the device in Device Manager, updating the laptop BIOS, updating the display driver, running the HP diagnostic tool and installing all available updates, activating and deactivating hibernation mode using the powercfg command, increasing the size of the hiberfil.sys file to 100.

We have also now noticed that the computer cannot be woken after putting the laptop to "Sleep" using the command in the Windows menu.


If anyone has any further ideas on what the update did to cause this issue and fix it, it would be gratefully appreciated.

XFX 5770 memory clock remains at max in idle state

hello every one as the title says i recently bought xfx 5770 its memory clock remains at 1200 in idle state and core clock comes to 400 in idle state iam up loading screen shots and bios file for review . plz suggest any solutions if possiable thanks
cant upload bios file its in .bin format . plz suggest how to do that .
