Windows 10: Windows won't want to install KB4560960

Hi to all,


I am dealing with an issue in regards to Windows Update.

The update KB4560960 won't install as Windows provides the following error code 0x80073701


I have tried a lot of things already - notably using the cmd prompt and run several DISM commands that resulted in no mismatch or critical errors found.

I've used DISM online to fix the Windows 10 image that apparently did not need fixing.


I restarted the Windows Update service several times, and deleted the cache at Windows Software Distribution /Download

This did not help either.


I tried to install the standalone package downloaded from Microsoft Update. Still not working.


I am clueless. I might be missing a step or there is a conflicting software somewhere, I don't know.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
