Windows 10: Windows ws reset error

can someone help me with ws reset purge error i cant open any microsoft apps or microsoft store

Can't delete $Windows.~WS

Hi,

This folder is created by Windows, during the upgrade process and you may delete this folder.

Some times this will create an error when trying to delete this folder and I suggest you to restart the computer, sign in with Administrator account and follow the below steps again:

Right-click on Start button to open the Win X Menu. Select Command Prompt (Admin).

Now copy-paste the following and hit Enter to delete the contents of $Windows.~WS directory

takeown /F C:\$Windows.~WS\* /R /A

icacls C:\$Windows.~WS\*.* /T /grant administrators:F

rmdir /S /Q C:\$Windows.~WS\

80004005 error in ws

I have a Lumia 930 with the 10586.242 build. I am trying to reinstall the Twitter app, but the error 0x80004005 occurs. It seems it is due to the cache of the ws. The app is listed in my previous purchases, but i am unable to install it. Can anybody help
me? Thanks

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

This error could be related to Windows Store, so I suggest you to clear the Windows Store cache and check.

To reset the Windows Store cache, follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
  

If the issue still persist, then try the following steps and check.

• Press Windows key and type Task Scheduler in the Search box.
• Hit Enter to open the Task scheduler.
• Navigate to Microsoft > Windows > WS.
• Right click on the WSRefreshBannedAppsListTask, and
  Disable it.
