I opened the Windows/Xbox Game Bar on Windows 11 by pressing WIN+G for the first time I never used the Game Bar so far since I updated to Windows 11. The mouse now leaves the Fullscreen and goes to the second monitor while gaming. Game Bar how overridden the full screen function, making gaming impossible with dual monitor. Now every time I click, it takes me out of the game and places me on the 2nd monitor. This is an ongoing issue, that's persisted for over a month, with multiple people reporting it.I tried to delete Game Bar using commands, this resulting in error notifications and my game

Xbox Game Bar mic not working in parties.

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you're experiencing a specific issue with Xbox Game Bar on Windows, where your microphone only functions properly when the Game Bar is actively open on your screen. This can be frustrating, especially since it seems you've already tried a number of potential solutions. Let's go through a few additional troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue:

    1. Check Privacy Settings for Microphone:
      • Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
      • Ensure that the option "Allow apps to access your microphone" is turned on.
      • Scroll down to make sure the Xbox Game Bar is also allowed to access the microphone.
    2. Run the Audio Troubleshooter:
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
      • Select "Playing Audio" and then "Run the troubleshooter". Follow the on-screen instructions.
    3. Update Audio Drivers:
      • Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
      • Expand the “Audio inputs and outputs” section.
      • Right-click your microphone and select “Update driver”.
      • You can also check the manufacturer's website for the latest driver updates.
    4. Check Xbox Game Bar Settings:
      • Open Xbox Game Bar and go to its settings.
      • Look for any microphone-related settings and adjust them if necessary.
    5. Disable Exclusive Mode in Microphone Properties:
      • Right-click on the sound icon in your system tray and select Sounds.
      • Go to the Recording tab, right-click your microphone, and select Properties.
      • Under the Advanced tab, uncheck “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device”.
    6. Reinstall Xbox Game Bar using a Different Method:
      • Instead of using PowerShell, try uninstalling and reinstalling Xbox Game Bar through the Microsoft Store or system settings.
    7. Check for Windows Updates:
      • Sometimes, such issues are resolved in the latest Windows updates.
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security and check for updates.
    8. Create a New User Account:
      • Sometimes, user account issues can cause such problems. Try creating a new user account on your PC and see if the issue persists there.

Thank you for your patience and understanding! If you have any questions, feel free to leave us a message.

    Sincerely
