    Windows XP Activation


    HiI had to replace a motherboard in a server type computer.I replaced with exactly the same part as the original.Now when I boot up XP requests activation. At the point where you loginI cannot go online as there is a static IP address, which I do not know.If I attempt to phone in activation, the Telephone numbers no longer exist South Africa.Anyone have any ideas?Thank you.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Windows XP Activation Question

    I'm thinking about buying a Windows XP Home OEM installation disc...

    However, once Microsoft chooses not to support Windows XP anymore, will I still be able to activate it?

    For example, if I wanted to install and activate Windows XP 10 years from now, would it still work?
