Windows 10: Windows XP theme

Has anyone had any luck getting a windows XP luna theme like this working on windows 10?

I Can't Restore Original XP Theme On My My Desktop , How I Can Restore It??

Hello. Go to Start>Control Panel>Display>Select Theme tab at top> Select Windows XP in the pull down menu for theme. At the bottom, click apply and OK.

Would it be cool if Windows XP Features were in Windows 10

Would it be cool if All Windows XP Features were in Windows 10?

For example, the theme. If the Windows XP Luna theme was in Windows 10, I would like Windows 10 more.

And the interface too.

oh boy... that's a lot of work.. im going to try it out and come back here with the results

 

I did a great deal of Themeing in Windows 7 so just follow the directions. Let us know.

 

OK, so I downloaded the latest version of uxstyles and installed it. I also clicked on the download button in the top right corner, but there is no folder called "XP Folder" in the download they are offering. There is only a folder called "XP Themes for Windows 10". I have tried copying it into the themes folder and went to my desktop and clicked personlize and clicked on XP Luna but it looks nothing like on the pictures. It basically just changes my wallpaper to the XP wallpaper as well as changing the color on my taskbar to a dark blue color that doesn't look like the XP color.

 

- is your PC Aero compatible (has to have Aero stylesheet)
- are you on Build 10240, 10586 or 14393 only
- did you run UXStyles as admin and reboot after
- did you revert to Windows default theme before you started
- most say you need to run 'StartIsBack' for taskbar to skin

 

Hi there

any chance of getting the LUNA BLACK theme to work - especially with the 3-D effect on tool bars etc.

Looking on Virtual Customs it seems that the theme you use has to match the Windows 10 version you are on. It is not a one size fits all thing with Windows 10.

You may want to try this one. Remove the first before doing so.

What windows build are you using? use the WinKey +R and in run type in winver

 

That theme will only work on the Win 10 Builds that are outlined in red.

 

it says Im using build 14393.10
