Hello,


I have recently bought a laptop without windows being pre-installed. So the company where I bought from had a usb with them plus they said my computer needed setting. So after they had setup my computer chrome and other apps etc it was ready. When I got home, later on I found out that windows was not activated. I called them up and they said they had given a file on my computer and asked me to open it to activate windows and to disable all shields. But I started scanning those files with windows security and it showed that it was a hack tool.exe something like that. So what I wanted to know is are these people a scam or what they are saying is right because I don't believe them.


I bought the laptop after real hectic time for my exams and now I don't wish to end up without being able to give my exam. I'm very disheartened. Guys I need your suggestions.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
