Windows 10: Windows10 1803 update

Discus and support Windows10 1803 update in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have updated my acer laptop with the 1803 may update and now I get the error C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop refers to a location...     Windows10 1803 update


    I have updated my acer laptop with the 1803 may update and now I get the error
    C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer or on a network. Check to make sure the disk is properly inserted.
    I have tried every option to restore to a previous version but it won't. I am now stuck with a basic desktop showing that error. Any help for a novice please.

    1803 Update - Unable to Uninstall 1803 Update

    1803 Update does not show up on the list of updates in the "View update history window". All restore points were deleted with the 1803 Update

    You need not join Insider for 1803.

    But if you want to install 1803 right away, you can do it now. You can upgrade to 1803 manually by following below steps.

    You can go to

    Click Update now to update to 1803 through Upgrade Assistant.

    OR

    You can download the latest Windows 10 package from this link (media creation tool) and follow the instructions there to upgrade. Use the very simple instructions given under Using this tool to upgrade this PC to Windows 10
