Windows 10: Windows10 Desktop not showing in File Explorer. Tried minimum of 20 google searches and...

I did a clean reset on my laptop; installed new Office 365, everything worked but in File Explorer the option for DESKTOP to save to is gone. Spent hours over last few days sparingly attempting to fix in vain. Did the folder options, regedit, everything. Nothing worked. I can't save anything to DESKTOP the only place i save things from anywhere.. I can save to downloads, but that doesn't work for me. 1 site had me unhiding operating system files. When doing that i see 2 DESKTOP.ini folders. Properties for 1: C:\Users\[my name micrrosoft acct]\Desktop. I click on it, i get: [.Sh

Google as default search

On my new Samsung Notebook 9 I want to make Google the default search engine in Internet Explorer. I open Explorer, click on tools, click on manage add-ons and then click on search providers. That shows me a list which includes Bing (twice) and Google.
In the far right column under "search suggestions" Bing is listed as "enabled" and Google is listed as "not available." How do I make Google available?

 

File Explorer Search Not Working


I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.

 

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?
