Windows 10: Windows10 drive will not boot after booting from another windows10 drive

Windows10 drive will not boot after booting from another windows10 drive on the same computerboth drives installed simultaneously. I can see from diskmanagement that the first drive is no longer recognized as bootable. I tried repairing it using a bootable usb that i created with windows media creation tool, but had no luck with that. I would really appreciate any help.

IF I CHANGE MY PRESENT BOOT DRIVE TO A NEW SSD AND FORMAT WITH WINDOWS10 DVD AND USED AS MAIN BOOT DRIVE , THEN IS THERE ANY CHANCE TO VOID ACTIVATION??

PLEASE HELP.... I WANT TO UPGRADE MECHANICAL HDD TO AN SSD.

According to my experience you will have a problem activating Windows again... Windows 10 activation system stores your hardware signatures on a Microsoft sever so change of hardware might direct you lose your Genuine License...

The best way to get back your genuine copy would be informing the closest microsoft services or via email/chat that there is a hardware change on your system.....

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

You might have to boot from the installation media and run a Startup repair. Follow the instructions on Windows 10 Software Download page to create media:
http://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10

After creating the media, boot the computer from the medium and then try the following method to perform a Startup Repair in Windows 10.

• Contact the computer manufacturer to know on how to change the boot order of the computer. You will have to change the boot device to CD/DVD drive and then boot from the Windows 8.1 installation disk.
• In the “Windows Setup” dialog box that appears, set the Time and currency format, Keyboard or input method and the language to install and then click “Next”.
• Click on “Repair your computer” from the lower left corner.
• From the “Choose an option screen”, click on “Troubleshoot”.
• Click “Advanced Options” in the “Troubleshoot” screen.
• In the “Advanced Options” screen, click “Startup Repair”.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Startup Repair.

Check if you are able to successfully boot the system.
