Windows 10: windows10 latest update 21h1 disable my nvidia card code 43 i update on 10/08/2021

i update a culativi update window 10 21h1 from 10/8/2021 and it disable my nvidia card code 43 GF930m i try DDU and reinstall my window but not working ......but i install window 7 it work and run, it working it been 3 month and microsoft doesnt fix my problemi use laptop

Windows 10 / Nvidia 1030 - Code 43

After a Windows (Win 10 Home) update yesterday afternoon my son's PC reported the problem shown in the image below.




The result of this means he cannot play the very popular "Fortnite" game which reports this error.





Assuming the problem is caused by either the Windows Update or a driver update have done the following;

• Re-installed the latest Nvidia Driver. This didn't fix the problem.
• Installed the previous set of Nvida Drivers. This didn't fix the problem.
• Via the Control Panel / Device Manager I disabled and enabled the device. This didn't fix the problem.
• Via the Control Panel / Device Manager I used the "update driver" feature. This didn't fix the problem.
• I did a system restore to the day before. This did not complete with Windows reporting the Anti Virus software may have prevented the process. Default Windows Defender is the AV.
• I disabled the AV and tried system restore again. This didn't fix the problem.

In all other areas the system is functioning fine although my son said he had low FPS on Rainbow Six Siege which he tried to play when Fortnite wouldn't launch.

The PC is just over a week old so I am doubtful of any hardware issues with no other symptoms or errors showing.

So...any ideas or suggestions for next steps please?

NVIDIA Dual Card (Code 43)

Just to rule it out.... I went back and using the DDU each time did a clean install of the following drivers.

353.30 Installed normally. Same issue. 2nd card CODE 43

353.62 Kept downloading the 7/8 version even though I chose Windows 10 and would not install.

358.50 Installed normally. Same issue. 2nd card CODE 43

359.00 Installed normally. Same issue. 2nd card CODE 43

and now the latest

359.06 Installed normally. Same issue. 2nd card CODE 43

I don't get it. I did go back and read more forum posts and implemented a solution I hadn't tried yet. Using the NVIDIA control panel I disabled multi-GPU mode. It was in a post from August of this year
and did not resolve the problem. Same thing. CODE 43.
