Windows 10: WINDOWS10 LOGIN

I have a PC and a laptop, both running Windows 10 and both linked to the same MS account.

Until recently they both has the same Windows 10 login password - which is DIFFERENT from my MS Account password.

Suddenly, the PC has decided to insist that I login using my MS Account password instead of the Windows 10 login password that I have been using for years! WHY???

The laptop continues to behave as before - so now I have to use a different password to login to the laptop than the PC

AARGH!!!

How do I change the login password on my PC to be something of my choice (and NOT my MS account password)?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Can't login to my windows 10 PC

  Are you trying to login to Microsoft account or local account?
  
• 
  If its Microsoft account are you able to login using the web interface?
  

I suggest you to use the on-screen keyboard and try to login. Follow the steps below:

Click on the Ease of Access icon at the right bottom of the screen and select On-screen keyboard and check if issue persists.
