Windows 10: Windows10 Microsoft Store Icons Problems after System Restore. Icons plain white in...

hello,I got problems than i tried reversed using system restore in Windows10 21H2 19044.1706 when i tried forcefully install Storemi from AMD.It stuck, and i got system back with system restore, and deleting it storemi and its dll from safe mode command prompt.System is back. back some icons default from microsoft apps and microsoft store is missing: like spotify, store, groove, even settings.I tried sfc /scannow and dism no lucki tried delete icons cache no luck maybe more detail needed

So i recently looked into how to remove those shortcut arrows and stumbled upon this registry edit:

REG ADD “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Icons” /v 29 /d %SystemRoot%\System32\shell32.dll,50 /f


after applying this and restarting the computer, my windows 7 now has black icons. Its not black boxes over the icons, its straight up the icon is black. when i refresh, i can see for a milisecond the real icon. Anyone know how to fix this besides a system restore? (i don't have any restore points *Bang Head :banghead

Edit and I also went into the registry and went to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer, and clicked on "link" and edited the value for it to 0000 00 00 00 00

not sure if that also contributed to this problem.

 

my icons are just plain white!


so, all of my icons on my taskbar, aside from the native microsoft programs,(outlook, edge, control panel, etc) are just plain white and ugly..
any way to make them colorful like their icon actually should be, and was on my win 7 machine?

I'm sure there is a way, I just cant figure it out!

After I reset the default programs in the default apps tab in settings to Microsoft's recommended defaults I noticed that .png or .jpg files were showing the photos app icon inside a plain white icon (like a document, but white). Though before that the
photos app was also set as the default one for pictures etc. How do i fix this? Here's a little snip of the icon.
