Windows 10: Windows10 Ver 2004; Bluetooth Connection

Discus and support Windows10 Ver 2004; Bluetooth Connection in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Windows10; ver2004; Bluetooth....in device Mgr when I click on Bluetooth it reads; this device is working properly.     Windows10 Ver 2004; Bluetooth Connection


    Windows10; ver2004; Bluetooth....in device Mgr when I click on Bluetooth it reads; this device is working properly.


    So it shows it is working; but the but in the real world I don't see it working. I see in the QUICK ACTION CENTER, the BLUETOOTH icon is Blue and has "Not Connected" text in that Icon. I have put my Bluetooth speaker in front of my PC, put it in paring Mode...and nothing takes place, I see nothing on my Windows desktop. I see nothing when I go into Settings/Bluetooth and Devices...nothing pops up to show the Bluetooth Speaker....etc


    This all began about 2 weeks ago....I have been for the Past several years Connecting my FitBit Tracker via the FitBit Windows App to where the Tracker would sync transferring my walking activity from my FitBit Tracker to the FitBit Windows 10 FitBit Application. The App now shows unable to Find Tracker when I try to Sync it.


    That is why I decided to try to Pair my Bluetooth Speaker to my Windows10 Desktop that has Bluetooth and in device mgr shows Bluetooth is working Properly.


    So how Can I resolve this issued, like I wrote; Device Mgr reads Bluetooth is working, but,


    1 I cannot get my Fitbit Tracker to be seen; the Windows 10 Fitbit App....I selected Remove Tracker and replace it with a New Tracker...as the App searched for the New Tracker to Pair...it found nothing


    2 I cannot Pair my Bluetooth Speaker with my Desktop


    I have checked Windows Update; it shows my Bluetooth Driver is Current.

    Thanks Mr.Sondhi for giving the tips.

    BUT:

    The steps detailed by you did not help to resolve the connectivity issue. The computer/laptop goes on searching Bluetooth devices with out any search result. (Though the devices search the lap top VAIO but show unable to connect.)

    • I had upgraded the windows 8.1 to windows10 through the free up-gradation offer from microsoft.
    • Bluetooth connectivity was OK with windows8.1
    • My Lap Top model is Sony VAIO Model SVE14137CN

    Sir,

    I did the changes as described by you.

    BUT:

    • It did not work
    • I am able to send files to my android phone Samsung Galaxy J2 from my Laptop Sony VAIO SVE14137CN.
    • Files CAN NOT be sent from the android phone to the Laptop- Message says connection failed even when it is paired with VAIO.
    • Tried many times by removing device and then pairing.
    Pl. suggest further steps (Bluetooth drivers are updated: Details are as follows-

    • Microsoft Blue Tooth Enumerator-Location: on Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth (R) Adaptor.
    • Microsoft Blue Tooth LE Enumerator-Location: on Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth (R) Adaptor.
    • Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth (R) Adaptor-Location: Port_#0002.Hub_#0004.

    I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps.

    Method 1

    I suggest you to run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

    • Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click Hardware and Devices.
    • Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.
    Method 2

    Start the Bluetooth service.

    • Click Start, type “services.msc” and hit
      enter.
    • From the list of items, double click Bluetooth Support Service.
    • Change the startup type to Automatic and click
      Start button
      to start service.
    • Click Apply and then click ok.
    Method 3

    I suggest you to try disabling and then enabling and check if the Bluetooth toggle is available. Refer the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X.
    • Click on Device Manager.
    • Look for Bluetooth device from the list.
    • Right click on the device and click on Disable.
    • Right click on the device and click on Enable.
    • Restart the computer.
    • Check if issue persists.
    Method 4: Update the Bluetooth driver

    I suggest you to try updating the Bluetooth drivers check if it works for you.

    Follow the steps to update the Bluetooth driver:

    • Press Windows key + X.
    • Click on Device Manager.
    • Expand “Bluetooth”.
    • Right-click on the Bluetooth listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
    • Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.
    • Restart the computer after its updated and verify.
    Also try to access the computer manufacturer's website and download the latest Bluetooth drivers & Chipset drivers for your computer and install the same.
