So recently I have had issues with windows 11 becoming unresponsive and having things coming up "not responding" I've had instances of Windows folders, Windows "save as" feature and task manager stop responding and being completely unable to be closed This occurs whether I 've been using my pc for hours or just a few minutes, I have also had instances of being unable to open any programs or processes no matter what I do even being unable to close or restart the pc without using the power button. I have tried Malware scans, sfc/ scannow, CHKDSK, Memory test, Driver updates and DISM. the problem

  2. Games Stop Responding 5870 HELP!

try the card in another machine is all i can suggest now. If it works in that one but not urs then obviously the card is not compatible with your motherboard. Last resort is to tell Asus to go suck on donkey balls and get a different make of board

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Windows11 becoming unresponsive and stops responding :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

    System Stopped Responding aka Freezed

Thank you for your prompt response. Based on your answers, there are possibility that some components of the game are corrupted. If your game is freezing or not responding, uninstalling and reinstalling it will remove and replace the files that run the game.

Here are the steps on how to uninstall and reinstall your game:

    • Press the Windows key on your keyboard.
    • Select All apps, and then find your game in the list.
    • Right-click the game tile, and then select Uninstall.
    • Follow the steps to uninstall the game.
    • To reinstall your game, open Windows Store app, and then select the profile button.
    • Select My Library.
    • Locate the game in the list of available downloads, and then select the download icon to the right.

We also suggest that you restart your computer to normal startup to disable unnecessary apps that run in the background of your computer while you are using it. Here's how:

    • Press Windows + R on the keyboard.
    • Type msconfig, and then click
      OK
      .
    • On the General tab, click the
      Normal Startup
      , and then click OK.
    • When you are prompted to restart the computer, click
      Restart.

Keep us updated with the results after performing the steps above.
