    Fix for Event ID 15005

    Hello!

Today, while using my computer, I got a BSOD (in my case the Green Screen since I'm on Windows 10 Insider Builds) which said SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION. I Ran Memory Diagnostic tool which didn't find Errors. I Also ran System File Checker which didn't find any violations, as well as the Check disk utility. So, I figured I'd check Event Viewer to see the source of the error. The most recent errors from today all have the same Event ID 15005, listed as an HttpEvent. The error reads as follows:

Unable to bind to the underlying transport for 127.0.0.1:50001. The IP Listen-Only list may contain a reference to an interface which may not exist on this machine. The data field contains the error number.

There were multiple errors like this with variation of the 127.0.0.1:50001, from 50001 to 50159.

I was wondering if there was a way to fix this type of error other than the troubleshooting Steps I already tried that were listed above. I also used the utility called BlueScreenView that showed the error below, if this provides any more information needed:

Thanks in advance for your response.

Good.. Open the services and have a look. So you are not using Hyper-V you could disable all those services. It MAY cause this Event 15005 HttpEvent if those services are enabled. Attachment 383569

"....I keep getting Event 56, Application Popup and Event 15005 HttpEvent." The most common cause of this Event ID is PSU, or caused by memory corruption. If your PSU is ok, I would suggest testing the RAM with the free utility MemTest86, then run a full 8 pass scan to test your RAM for physical errors: MemTest86+ - Test RAM In run dialog, you paste this : mdsched.exe once you click OK, it should ask for you to restart. Wait until the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool has finished. May take about 30-45 minutes, and it will detect if there are any hardware issues.
