  1. windowsservercore container on 1809

    Hi,

I just got a fresh upgrade to Win 10 Pro.

I'm trying to grab a docker container for windows server core, but I keep getting an error saying that no manifest is available.

This error would probably, normally, indicate that there is a build/kernel mismatch.

However, given that Win Server Core 2019 is supposed to use the 1809 kernel, I'm not sure if something else is going on.

The hyper V feature is enabled on the host OS.

My exact pull command and the associated error:

    docker pull mcr.microsoft.com/windows/servercore:ltsc2019

    ltsc2019: Pulling from windows/servercore

no matching manifest for unknown in the manifest list entries

The pull command was taken directly from the MS page.

Additionally, this document indicates that I should be able to use the servercore image, as long as I run it with Hyper V isolation:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/vi...iners/deploy-containers/version-compatibility

Could I please get some help here?

I posted this under system failure because I'm not sure if there is a potential kernel issue.

    Thanks!

    :)

I cannot update my Surface Pro 6 to Windows 10 1809

I just upgraded my Surface Pro to Windows 10 build 1809.
Here are the steps I did:

    1. Open your web browser and go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and click "Download tool now".
    2. Double-click on the MediaCreationTool1809.exe file you've downloaded.
    3. Agree the license terms.
    4. Select the "Upgrade this PC now" option and click Next.
    5. Just wait to complete the upgrade process.

  3. c# subtract elements of a list

    This.
Create EventInfo class with DateTime EventStart, DateTime EventEnd, and a TimeSpan property Duration (with only getter) that gets EventEnd-EventStart.
Then you keep the list of EventInfo instances.
