Discus and support Windwos 10 1903 annd 1809 with 0xC 1099101 Errors. in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Have tried several upodates for Windows 10 1809 and 1903.     Windwos 10 1903 annd 1809 with 0xC 1099101 Errors.


    Have tried several upodates for Windows 10 1809 and 1903. Cannot get the updates to complete and get the 0xC 1099101 error.

    Have also had 0x80070643 error for 1809.

    I've gone to Microsoft Support and see advice to go to Command Prompt and do a Chkdks/f C: update. I'm not much of a guru working on 'Advanced' fixes. Is this a safe/straight forward fix. Or should I get a qualified tech on board to do this ?

    KB4023057 after upgrading Windows 10 from 1809 to 1903

    My 64-bit desktop computer running Windows 10 Home 1809 has been successfully upgraded to 1903.

    After the upgrade, when running "Programs and Features" from Control Panel, I noticed that "Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057)" is still in the installed list.

    As far as I know, this "feature" does not apply to 1903, so :-

    1) Should the upgrade to 1903 have automatically uninstalled it?

    2) Should I uninstall it?
