Windows 10: Winget only showing microsoft store applications

Discus and support Winget only showing microsoft store applications in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I'm trying to set up a new laptop, and winget can only install microsoft store applications, no community apps chrome, steam, discord, etc..I made sure...     Winget only showing microsoft store applications


    I'm trying to set up a new laptop, and winget can only install microsoft store applications, no community apps chrome, steam, discord, etc..I made sure to install app installer from the MS store and install all windows updates otherwise. I'm on winget version 1.8.1911 and I'm on Windows 11 home 23H2. I haven't been able to find anyone else having this issue. The winget running on my desktop, with the same version of winget, works just fine.
