Windows 10: wininit.exe initiated the power off of a Virtual Server - How do I turn it back on?

The process wininit.exe has initiated the power off of computer HQ-XXXXX-XX on behalf of user Admin for the following reason: No title for this reason could be foundReason Code: 0x800000ffNo one can seem to give me the answer that I need to get this Virtual Server turned back on. Our NOC said we shut the Virtual Machine down and that the virtual network card was disabled.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Your concern about your laptop turning off completely when placed on sleep mode may indicate a possible improper power plan configuration. As an initial step to rule out any power settings issues, we suggest that you reset the settings to default. To do
this, follow the steps below:

• Type cmd in the search box.
• Right clickCommand Prompt from the list, and select
  Run as administrator.
• Type or copy and paste the command below:
  
  powercfg -restoredefaultschemes
• Wait for the command to finish and restart the device if prompted.

Once you're done, check if the issue persists.

 

Turn of Virtual memory?

if you google it , lots of litrature suggest turning of Page file (virtual memory) if you have enough RAM for example like i have 4GB with Win XP and have almost 1 GB reserve.

They claim that because the CPU can acess the RAM faster than it can acess the virtual memory in the hrd disk your system will be faster.

What do you guys think?

 

Virtual Machine could not be started because the hypervisor is not running server

Am getting the above error when trying to start virtual machines on my server running windows server 2012 R2. They were working fine but we had an unexpected shutdown due to power outage. I have tried the solutions below but none worked.

• Restarting the Hyper V Virtual Machine Management service.
  
• Setting the hypervisorlaunchtype to auto.
  

Please help. The physical server is HP proliant DL120 Gen9
