WinLogin Init took lot of time (Boot - 2minutes)

    Hello,

    I recently bought a new laptop (Lenovo Ideapad S145 - 15ILU) with pre-installed Windows 10.
    Laptop Configuration:

WinLogin Init took lot of time (Boot - 2minutes) [IMG]

Microsoft Windows Version 2004 (OS BUILD 19041)

It is literally taking 2-2.5 minutes before I am presented with the windows login screen. I don't know why I am facing this issue.
These are steps that I have taken to resolve this till now -
    1. Disabled most of the windows app at startup
    2. Checked the App Readiness service - Set of Manual only by default (did not change this)
    3. Windows Update
    4. There is only a single drive C:, so, did error checking on the HDD. No errors
    5. Defragmented
    6. Deleted the Temp folder contents
    7. Disabled the PXE to LAN boot and also disabled Boot from USB option in BIOS.
    8. Disabled all checks in Performance Options in System Settings
    9. Also, checked the Driver Manager to see if there any yellow warning symbols
    10. Running laptop on High Performance Mode battery option

The Task Manager shows Boot time to be only around 2-4 seconds only.

I ran the Windows Performance Recorder as suggested on TenForum, Went ahead with analysing it with WPA but to my knowledge WinLogin Init service only took around ~ 60 seconds. What's more interesting was - Between CreateSession and Login series, it took literally 40 seconds doing nothing. Which was quite suspecious.
I might be wrong so can somebody help me resolve this please..

Attaching the WPR zip. WPR - Boot Log - TransferNow

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS. WAITING 2MINUTES JUST TO SEE THE LOGIN SCREEN IS SHIT. *Sad

    :)

  2. Please help with slow boot time on SSD, Winlogin Init Phase, Win 10

I would kindly appreciate some help on figuring out why I have long boot times (just over a minute) on my SSD. I have tried to use Windows Performance Analyzers and Sysinternals ProcessMonitor to diagnose the problem but have been unsuccessful. The majority of the boot time is in the Winlogin Init phase. I have attached some selected images of what looked like problems to me in the tracing. ProcessMonitor seems to indicate that most of the time spent booting is prior to any processes being loaded. I would be happy to upload by tracing and would be grateful if someone would be willing to analyze it. I also have a Windows boot log.

I have tried sfc /scannow (which did correct some errors), disabling fast boot, uninstalling my video card drivers, windows startup repair and booting into safe mode without any changes. Thank you WinLogin Init took lot of time (Boot - 2minutes) :)

Slow Boot Windows 10. Session Init and Winlogon Init times are high.

    Hi,

I am experiencing slow boot on windows 10. The boot time was close to 200 seconds initially when i started diagnosing it. Now, after reading few posts here, i have manged to reduce it to 82 seconds. Thanks Zinou!

I followed this post and executed the xbootmgr -trace boot -prepSystem -verboseReadyBoot command. (High CPU when first starting the laptop). This brought down my boot time from 200 seconds to 82 seconds.

Can this boot time be reduced further? I still see high boot time in Session Init and Winlogon Init.

    My config:
    Dell Inspiron 5770
    Intel i7 8550U
    1 TB HDD
    AMD Raedon 530

    Before xbootmgr CMD:

WinLogin Init took lot of time (Boot - 2minutes) [IMG]

    After xbootmgr CMD:

WinLogin Init took lot of time (Boot - 2minutes) [IMG]

    Trace of boot 6:

Please have a look. Thanks WinLogin Init took lot of time (Boot - 2minutes) :)

WinLogin Init took lot of time (Boot - 2minutes)

Startup takes too long at Winlogon Init

    Hi,

Your boot trace shows that your logon phase took 31s, and 26s was spent loading your user profile.

There is a lot of CPU and disk activities there, generated by the svchost (1580) process.

A quick look at its call stack shows that it's spending most of its time loading the user profile, reading the C:\Users\heinl\Appdata\local\Temp\ path content.

I suggest you delete all the C:\Users\heinl\Appdata\local\Temp\ content, restart your computer and see if it helps.otherwise, you can create a new user profile as suggested by @dalchina
