    Winmail.dat Viewer Letter Opener


    I am running Windows 10 (ver 1803)

    I have just purchased the Winmail.dat Viewer Letter Opener app from the Microsoft Store.


    Since loading this app I cannot open a winmail attachment that has been sent to me.


    Every time I click on the attachment the 'Microsoft Edge' window come on.


    What is the problem.

    missing winmail folders and files in Windows 10

    We have just noticed that a complete chunk of our Winmail email folders/files has disappeared from roughly half way down the list on the left hand side. Neither of us are aware of having deleted anything or moved anything. How can we recover them (if
    indeed we can). There are a lot....... and not all recent. We have tried some of the suggestions and nothing works so far. Most of the suggestions are from an older version.

    need some help opening a .dat file.....

    i think he meant her as in her's , and Pampered Chef is a salesman program

    does Pampered Chef have it's own software, what do the dat files normally open in?

    .dat files are rarely directly opened, they are more often opened by the software that uses it.

    task viewer icon(virtual desktop)

    I have the same problem. The task viewer icon was there but is now gone. I have gone through the steps you listed but no viewer. Then I created a new profile and the task viewer is there. Now, how do I get the task viewer back in my taskbar in my
    original profile??
