Winows 10 upgrade in July 2018

Another forced windows upgrade in July 2018, destroyed about 80% of my apps, as well as contact lists, email Folders, security systems, printer files, Live Mail (replaced with their JUNK agent), files and data; and other files and apps still trying to find. Had SEAGATE storage running; however, subsequent storage events seemed to delete old backups & it did not recognize the F-Drive anyway.

Tried to run 2 system restores, one in Windows and one in Save Mode. Both failed (after 8 hours of running) due to 0X80070005 and 0X8007003 Errors for (unspecified error) which is normal for Microsoft error messages. This on a Dell PC Intel I3 computer used for BUSINESS and personal, using Firefox. Essentially lost $$$$ due to this upgrade and lack of MSoft's lack of quality control to test upgrades, or as a minimum, providing USER FRIENDLY FIXES to repair their non-client friendly forced upgrade practices.

It amazes me that when I/we have a problem, we ask "Cortina", and she gives us about 15, 3rd party WEB pay-for-service solutions, that are Microsoft certified/friendly, probably who pay a service to Microsoft to use their LOGO, who can fix the problem. Most are notin the US, so that's a great security thing. However, Microsoft programmers themselves cannot provide similar solutions to the problems they caused in the first place? Personally I have been in IT related computer design and programming for 30 years, and things just never seem to improve. Express Mail, Windows 7 were fine, but Msoft has to churn and destroy, as with Win 8 and Win 10 to make more $$$. My options seem to be to delete all and go back to Win7, which MSoft will stop supporting soon or go to Apple, which is a serious option as they do provide support.

Think we should nickname Windows 10, as "Trumpwin10", and recognize it is as a solution similar to that like he is doing by "fixing the ACA", giving tax cuts and raising wages for the middle class, improving our NATO ally relationships, getting rid of the missiles in North Korea issue, helping Puerto Rico hurricane victims , taking care of immigrant's children, sleeping with Putin, and telling the truth!! Regards- Venting

Still possible to upgrade to Windows 10

There were various work arounds to the free upgrade sunset on July 2016 that were in place up till end of 2017. Everything I have see since hasn't shown anything current tho.
