Windows 10: winows 11 taskbar too short for all my pinned and open apps

this might be a dumb question, but I cannot find any info on iton my SB3, I cannot see all my pinned and open apps; at the right hand end of the main part of the taskbar there is a vertical bar and then the first of some currently open apps, but no drop down arrow to see the other open appsthey show on the task bar on my other monitor, it has more display spacebut there seems to be no way to access open apps that don't show in the first row of the taskbarwindows 10 would let you access the second row if you had that many apps pinned and or open, but there seems to be no way to access these in

Open file location is missing in pinned apps

The setting that turns these jump lists on or off for pinned app on the taskbar (you can also right-click on apps in the Start menu to see them) is found in Settings - Personalisation - Start. The last toggle in the list is 'Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or taskbar'.

BTW: A quick way to clear all Jump Lists is to turn this off then back on again.

 

Query re pinning and unpinning apps to taskbar

Pinning an app to taskbar does not remove it from Start all apps list. It list in Start under letter M as in Microsoft Edge, you should find it there even when it is pinned to taskbar.
