Discus and support WinPE for idiots er... Me in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; so, I managed to create a WinPE thumbdrive, now I want to have it boot a program when I have an errant computer. FYI the program is PC Unlocker Pro,...     so, I managed to create a WinPE thumbdrive, now I want to have it boot a program when I have an errant computer. FYI the program is PC Unlocker Pro, which I have burned to CD... but the thumbdrive would be an easier device for me.I have read, read, and reread til my eyes are dead... can someone get me there help an old guy.thanks, Bill

    Add packages to WinPE version 10.0.15063.0

    I am unable to add any packages to my WinPE wim file using DISM.

    I consistently get the following error:

    Error: 0x800f081e

    The specified package is not applicable to this image

    Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds?

    Validating user credentials in WinPE


    I was having problems accessing my NAS drive from Windows 10.
    I found that using :

    sc.exe config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi sc.exe config mrxsmb20 start= disabled
    works (from thread 30425)

    I have the same problem trying to recover backup files from tthe NAS drive when booted into WinPE (Windows 10).
    Please can someone help me make the same changes in the WinPE environment as these commands do not work.

    As I am a bit of a novice step by step or even a .BAT file to run in WinPE would be very helpful.
