Windows 10: WinRAR and some other apps blocked by windows 11

About one month ago I've installed Windows 11 beta and now it might be updated. Today I decided to a clean install the Windows 11 and tried to unzip the iso file downloaded a few days ago from Microsoft's website, I was surprised that instead of launching app a message was shown that you are trying to install an app which is not verified from Microsoft. While a few hours earlier I've used WinRAR without any problem. Yesterday it was happened to CCLEANER. Windows Explorer is also not responding to open the iso file.I am sure that someone will help me to resolve this issue.RegardsZaigham

UAC Blocking WINRAR exe.

I did the test I suggested. It is definitely a permissions issue. Tried to extract the contents, and it barked loudly at me. I think you would have to change the permissions at the root level and down for folder "Program Files". Not recommended.

Do you have WinRAR installed on your PC?

If so: right click a RAR, choose 'Open With' - Choose Another App

Important - Check the box marked 'Always use this app to open rar . . .'

If WinRAR is not in the list, scroll to the bottom and click 'More Apps'

Again if WinRAR is not in the list, at the bottom, click 'Look for another app on this PC', then navigate to find the WinRAR executable . . .

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Log in to https://familysafety.microsoft.com/ using your Microsoft Email account.
• Find the user that is correspond to the computer account on the Windows that you are having issue with.
• Click on "App Restrictions".
• Under App Restrictions, click on "App list".
• Here, you can Allow or Block the Apps/Games that you want.
