    Set WordPad as default

    You can use Wordpad for txt and rtf for example, not for doc, docx of course.

    Using Open With to set default requires you to check the box 'Always use this app...' at the bottom of the Open With context menu as per the tutorial. That takes a couple of steps before it is presented.

    That's not the only way to set defaults of course.

    how do i move the ruler in WordPad win10

    WordPad windows10, how do I move the ruler? Spread it out some. I try, but it seems locked.
