    So while downloading some updates last Saturday (13.02.2021), my PC just crashed and wouldn't boot. Boot menu stopped showing my HDD in list of Bootable device. Opening CMD from the advanced boot settings did list the drive in list vol. Tried many fixes from various forums over Sunday. Failed. Gave clean command in cmd and converted the drive so it would become Bootable (some gpr or other to m something). Made a Bootable USB drive. Installed windows. But alas, my PC still freezes roughly 1 min after start up. I've already tried resetting it, booting from a save point and what not. I'm really frustrated and could really use your help. Appreciate any support.

    Fresh windows install help.

    Hi.
    I have Samsung Series 7 NP7005ZA-S0AUS laptop pc. I decided to do a fresh windows install so I used a flash drive to re-install windows (I formatted the hard drive at the begnining of the installation). When the laptop booted first time in the installation process, I got a screen saying boot menu but it's empty. I clicked alt+ctl+de, the laptop restarts and gets me back to the same screen. I entered the bios and made sure the hd is on the top of the list and save/restarted but same issue. I tried loading bios default settings and that did not help either. I noticed in the boot menu that there are exclamation marks next to the HD and the SATA DVD drives, not sure what that means but they were not there before. I honestly think a bios update can do the trick but there is no way to upgrade the bios of a samsung laptop without Windows like my case so I am stuck.
    Any help will be very much appreciated.
    Notice: The hard drive has 8GB msata built in.

    [Confusion] Hard drive won't boot. Caused by video card?

    Did you install Windows with all your other hard drives plugged in? If you did, removing them when you boot Windows will fail, because Windows dumps boot flags on every drive when its first installed. That's why people always recommend disconnecting every single hard drive besides your C:\ drive when doing a fresh install.

    As for your initial problem, the GPU being reinstalled and suddenly Windows won't boot - tried safe mode? (Spam F9 when your computer is loading)
