Windows 10: Wired Beats headphones not recognized

My beats headphones don't show up in my audio input/output devices, both in settings and in the device manager. When I plug my headphones in, the sound goes through but it doesn't automatically turn volume down like it does with my other Bluetooth headphones. When it's plugged in, my laptop still says the sound is coming out through the regular speakers. The microphone being used is also from the regular speakers, so it doesn't pick up my voice most of the time. Sometimes afterward, when I unplug my headphones, the mic still doesn't pick me up for whatever reason. I don't see my headphones anywhere under any devices and I don't know how to pair them up properly.

How to use Beats Studio 3 headphones with Windows 10

Can anyone help me connect my Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones to my Windows 10 laptop please?

• Windows is paired with and connected to my headphones if I try with Bluetooth
• I cannot both hear and be heard, sometimes neither, on skype calls an WebEx meetings
• Even when I use my headphones wired my voice is being picked up from my laptop instead of my headphones

I can use the headphones for calls wirelessly with both my iPhone and MacBook.

 

Beats Studio Headphones

Hello, I am having trouble getting my Beats headphones to pair with my laptop. I have tried to add them as a device and my laptop is not recognizing them- they are both turned on and in range. My laptop is also not recognizing my other pair of wireless
ear buds. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks so much but it still did not help! My headphones are not showing up in the Bluetooth tab- they are not an option to connect them to this device. I need to know step by step how to connect my beats solo 3 headphones please.
