Windows 10: Wired Headphone Quality is Bad

My audio is bad when I plug in my headphones on windows 11 but when I uninstall the Realtek Audio it gets better after I restart my computer. It automatically reinstalls the Realtek Audio though. I want it to be able to where I can I have Realtek Audio and still have good audio through my wired headphones. I do not want to uninstall the Realtek Audio anymore or have it uninstalled at all. Please help.

Bad audio-quality over A2DP

Wanted to bump this again...

I'm running the mango beta right now and the A2DP audio quality is just lacking still. It sounds tinny, compressed, and just all around bad. I was curious if this would be fixed before the mango final ships or not, as I really want to use my wireless headphones
again...

My setup:

• HTC Arrive running mango beta 2

• Motorola S9-HD headphones

• All songs are 320kbps CBR MP3 or VBR V0 rips

• All songs sound excellent over wired headphones on the arrive, and they sound great on my iPod Touch over these wireless headphones.

I had a HTC Touch Pro II before this, and the workaround for the audio was to increase the bitpool and bitrate settings in the registry. The audio quality I have right now on my Arrive is reminiscent of my Touch Pro before I increased those settings, and frankly
it's a terrible representation of what these headphones are capable of...

I have also tested these headphones on a family member's Arrive running NoDo and a friend running mango beta 2 on the HTC HD7 and they all sound the same. My source files are fine, I'm a happy camper when I have wired headphones in, but I want to get away from
that... The sooner I can drop my iPod, the happier I will be...

 

Bad headphone quality (WH-207)

Hello,

I experience a very bad headphone quality (music is quite ok, but speech of the singer is very distorted). Here are the parameters of my phone:

- Nokia Lumia 620

- Windows Phone 8.1

- OS: 8.10.14192.280

- FW: 3058.50000.1425.00006

The headphone that I'm using is WH-207. When I'm pressing one of the buttons of the headphones, then the quality is good. As soon as I release the button, it's bad again.

Can someone help?

wired headphones quality setting resets to worst quality every time i use the headphone jack

every time i plug in my wired headphones in the laptop the audio quality is just ****. i have to manually change it to one of the last options form the screenshot for it to sound decent. does anybody know a fix?

note: the selected quality does not change in the settings, it just sounds like I've selected "CD quality". i have this problem since the windows 10 update i believe. Not quite sure.

how do i "fix" my issue:

step 1) plug in headphones. sound is ****

step 2) open settings -> sound -> speaker proprieties -> advanced ->select one of the 2 last options(*), sound quality is good again.

if i unplug & plug in my headphones or restart the laptop, i am at the step 1 again

(*)if the last option is already selected, i click on the one before that. if the option before the last one is selected, i select the last one.

laptop: asus rog g551jw, latest drivers and windows build.

what i have tried so far without success:

reinstalling audio drivers

setting the sound quality to every one of this levels
