Windows 10: Wired Headset Acknowledged but No Sound Input or Output

Got a new wired headset today Arctis Nova 1 and have been trying to no avail to get sound coming through the headset successfully. No audio comes through my speakers so my laptop knows there is another output device there, just nothing comes through the headset itself. At one point I attempted to restart my laptop as part of advice I had seen elsewhere, but it ended up with my laptop reawakening to the blue 'Recovery' page, while displaying that my device needs to be repaired, as there is a required device cannot be accessed or is not connected, with the error code 0xc000000f.My laptop is an

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

No sound input or output devices

Since updating WIndows I no longer have any sound input or output devices listed under device manager - sound video games controllers. Intel smart sound technology oed had yellow warning triangle.

What can I do to get the sound working on my laptop.

 

My headset output works but input stops working

So I'm using a Roccat Khan Aimo headset. Worked perfectly on windows10. Since using windows 11 it hasn't worked properly.

I've scrolled through all suggestions and changes and nothing has worked. When I disable the effects on my output of the headset the input stops working. Vice versa at times. I'm struggling to find a solution.

My headset uses a USB connection. My headset shows up on all of my settings, but just doesn't want to work.
