    Wired Hotspot! & NAT

Hello, there!Could you guide me through the two questions below, please?1st - Could we share our Ethernet or USB network Internet connection with a cell phone or other devices through a USB cable? Or transfer it thoroughly?I mean, as a wired Hotspot and without any wireless cards. There's merely a wired router connected to a PC that both have no WiFi.2 - Could we disable NAT feature and have only one IP address? the public one gained from ISPHow must we configure TCP/IPv4, then? I mean, without any local IP address, wether that's insecure or not.

    :)

  2. nat type

    Hi,

If your NAT type shows Moderate, this is a good state. However, you may still have issues communicating or playing with other people who have Moderate or Strict NAT settings. To open your NAT settings, you may follow the steps
under Open network ports using port forwarding on this
    link
    .

Keep us updated with the results after performing the suggested solutions above.

Change NAT Type in Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot

I want to connect my Nintendo Switch to the internet using the mobile hotspot on my Windows 10 PC. However, there seems to be a problem with the NAT connection, I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a VPN. Is there a way to change the hotspot
    settings? Thanks!

    Mobile hotspot cutting internet

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    • How are you connecting to the mobile hotspot?
    • Which driver did you remove to fix the issue?

It appears that you are using USB tither to connect to the mobile internet which is different from mobile hotspot or the computer is connected to a LAN (Wired network).

If the issue is with your wired network, you may follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

Fix network connection issues in Windows
