Where are you seeing this network?

If you have a WiFi network, your network adapter will detect the presence of other nearby networks, just like your radio will detect the presence of other stations. Means nothing by itself.

A wired LAN connection does not need an encryption key like you do a wireless device to connect to your home network and the internet. If this is the case to connect wireless devices, and if you have a modem/router combo, type in browser 192.168.0.1 and
then go to wireless section and your Encryption Key is there to connect all wireless devices. Write it down and copy and paste on a notepad.txt file. It is case sensitive.

If you have a wireless router connected to your modem, then the instructions for that router will give you a user name and password to access that router and then you can get the encryption key there to connect your wireless devices.

I am assuming you are talking about PC's showing in your network folder that are connected with a LAN Cable or even wireless.

If you go to the 2 links I gave you, it explains to go to Network sharing options to turn off user account and passwords to access other computers in network folder. Usually with password on, you enter username and password and select to remember credentials.
then the other PC will get a one time verification to allow you to connect to their PC.

You can start by running regedit, navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles

Delete all the entries under profiles.
